The fourth new Thunderjet 500 release from Round 2 (AutoWorld) is a remarkable retro look into the original Aurora cars of the same type. There are six (6) cars in the lineup with 2 different paint schemes which should satisfy almost every collector.  The cars introduced here are:

The ThunderJet 500 chassis is Auto World's adaptation of the classic "pancake" design, originally developed by Aurora in the early days of electric slot racing. Still immensely popular today, entire slot racing events are created around this chassis. It continues to be a favorite with collectors and hardcore drivers. Closer to HO scale, ThunderJet bodies mount over the chassis using two small screws. ThunderJets are retro slot racing at its best!

Auto World's newly improved ThunderJet Ultra/G cars feature a special neodymium traction magnet on the underside of the chassis. This additional component smoothes handling, and allows for faster speeds in the corners.
