Mega-G+ Police Interceptor w/LED Flashing Lights HO Slot Car

Throttle forward into the bright future of AFX - literally, with the introduction of the first-ever AFX drive-light feature. 

The AFX Police Interceptor Car has 17 individual, miniature LED lights throughout the entire car - both internally and externally. Front and rear turn signals, interior front and rear window lights, headlights, taillights, and a light bar on the roof use multiple light colors to display different light patterns. In keeping with its real life counterpart, there are 5 different light colors: white, yellow, red, blue and orange that create 6 unique pre-made light patterns. Different varieties of the colors shine, flash and alternate their timing to mimic the array of actual real life police car light functions. 

The car itself is raced just like any other slot car and can be driven with its lights on or off with zero performance discrepancies. To turn the lights on just press and hold the black button on the roof of the car. Press again to switch between each of the 6 light patterns. 

The independently powered lights do not rely on the car’s connection to the track. The lights are battery operated and can be charged both on and off the track. However, prior to first use, the car must be fully charged manually by plugging a USB-C cable (provided with the car) to the underside of the car. A full charge takes approximately 45 minutes. While charging, orange lights will flash on the car. Once it’s fully charged the lights turn off and you’re ready to race for hours as the car continues charging during the race! 

The car’s body design is also totally brand new to AFX being one of the first modern day SUV style cars released in decades. The lights are enhanced by the silver sparkle of the car’s paint. The official highway patrol car identifying elements are presented with precision, like the Nevada State badge on the car doors and the standard issue NHP license plate. 

The combination of each element of the car from appearance to functionality are above and beyond anything attempted by AFX to date. And the new light feature marks an exceptionally significant milestone for AFX collectors and racers alike.
