Ford GT Heritage #6 Gulf HO Slot Car

In 2020, Ford introduced the GT Heritage #6 Gulf paying homage to the legendary Ford GT40 #1070. At the wheel, Jacky Ickx took home half a dozen victories in 1968 and ’69 including unprecedented back-to-back victories in the 24 hours of Le mans in those two years.

Interestingly, the twin-turbocharged EcoBoost Ford GT engine is based on the 3.5-liter V6 found in the Ford F-150. However, it is heavily upgraded for performance in the GT, delivering a roaring 660 horsepower. It goes without saying this Ford GT comes with stupefying, pulse-pounding power and speed.

The 2020 Heritage GT carries the distinctive blue and orange Gulf color scheme, exposed carbon and a bold #6. While never raced, the Ford GT Heritage was inspired by the Ford GT40s raced in the late 60s into the early 70s. AFX took each detail to heart and created a spitting image of the Ford GT down to its 10-Spoke chrome wheels.
