RPM's engineers have studied the stock front bulkhead and found something out of the ordinary. They found that the stock front bulkhead from Traxxas doesn't sit completely flat, which can have a negative effect on suspension settings and other adjustments. RPM's bulkhead remedies this problem, sitting level enough for perfect front kick and A-arm angles, providing a superior platform for exacting suspension adjustments.

The bottom of the bulkhead was also cored out by RPM's engineers. The main purpose was to help the bulkhead sit flat, but it also greatly reduces the weight of the bulkhead for a weight reduction of over 15%! By coring out the bottom of the bulkhead, there is a convenient cavity to put modeling clay to adjust the weight distribution of your vehicle. Leave it hollow for a lighter front end, add in the clay if you want a lighter rear end. Also included is a handy dust plate to cover the bulkheads bottom on vehicles like the Rustler, Stampede, and Bandit that leave the bottom exposed. The dust plate stops dirt and debris building up in the bulkhead that could affect the handling and weight of the vehicle.
