Excel Blades is a living example of the American dream. Founded by Mike Hammam in 1989, Excel had grown to symbolize all of the wonderful things that the United States has to offer. Mike, a Lebanese immigrant, had worked in the manufacturing field for over 15 years. His determination for a higher standard of manufacturing was unmet, so he decided to start anew. Excel Hobby Blades was founded in 1989 with only one other employee, a few products and a phone. It has since grown into a corporation of more than 30 employees, and prides itself of being able to extend that dream to each and every one of them. It has since grown into a family business, with Mike’s two children Hany and Kenda spearheading the growth and development of the company. We have moved from Excel Hobby Blades to Excel Blades to represent our move from the hobby industry to a larger arena. Although we have not forgotten where we started, we now look to serve many fields.
